The story behind Pensel

Pensel started with three friends and a simple idea: describe an image in your own words, then have it created, printed and delivered to your door.

We registered a company, built the platform and found a print partner. Everything was ready, but the company closed before we launched. We each moved on, and I’m grateful for what that chapter taught me about bringing a product to life.

I’m Majd Jamal, the engineer behind Pensel’s image generation, printing workflow, checkout and website. The code still worked, and I wanted people to use what we’d built.

Today, I’m bringing Pensel back as a personal project, run in my spare time. AI creates the artwork from your words; the platform handles print sizing, ordering and delivery.

I’m printing 100 posters in total, at a demo price with delivery on me. I’d love to see your ideas on real walls.
